Meet Archie!
Archie has attended swimming lessons since 2016. Throughout his journey, his skills have developed significantly. He is now at the GOswim 'Platypus 2' level!
Archie's mum, Erin explained, "Archie completed a 6-month individualised program. In this swim course, he developed his focus and confidence in the water. Once his group lessons commenced, his confidence grew even further. I noticed an improvement in his stroke and overall success", said Erin.
Archie also enjoys the social aspect of his swimming lessons. "Archie loves making new friends and is feeling very accomplished and proud of his hard work. He is especially happy how he can now jump in the 50-metre pool. His next goal to swim 25 metres in the lap pool independently."
Erin feels that swimming is a great way to keep Archie active and extremely important life skills. Another bonus is the extra access to practice and plays at the Centre outside of the weekly lessons.
Archie's teacher Tyla has also been very impressed with Archie. She has noticed many positive developments in Archie's skills and in particular, his brilliant backstroke technique!
Tyla said, "We love having Archie here as a part of our swimming community. He is a fantastic student and I adore his passion for swimming."
